$6 Urban Decay 24-7 Glide-On Eye Pencils !!

When I saw that Urban Decay Eye Liners were on sale at Sephora and the Urban Decay website for $6, compared to $19, I jumped all over it!! After many years of testing out different eye liner pencils, I have found that Urban Decay Eye Liner Pencils rank in my top 5.

Top -> Bottom: Lucky, Crash, Deviant, El Dorado, 1999, Lust, Binge, Gunmetal, Graffiti

The formula of these eye liners are soft and deliver beautiful pigment without the tugging and dragging that comes with other eye liner pencils that I have used in the past. I like having an eye liner that I don't need to press too hard when applying to get some color to transfer. In addition, Urban Decay has a beautiful array of colors in their line, there is something for everyone!

These pencils have long wear time, for me they last the whole work day, and after the liner has set there is no smudging. I really have nothing bad to say about these eye liners, but I should mention that all of the Urban Decay Liners I own were all bought on sale.

  • Lucky - A very pigmented bronzed copper.
  • Crash - A very pigmented dark plum with a little bit of shimmer to it.
  • Deviant - A pigmented vibrant cobalt blue.
  • El Dorado - A surprisingly pigmented bright gold.
  • 1999 - A pink plum with pink shimmer that has a slightly more sheer pigment to it.
  • Lust - A pigmented Royal Purple
  • Binge - A pigmented purple-blue that reflect mostly purple.
  • Gunmetal - A sheer silver grey with shimmer in it.
  • Graffiti - A sheer bright green with green shimmer.

Some of these eye liners varied as far as opacity and intensity of pigment, but they all transferred beautifully onto the skin. The only thing I did note as far as differences, is that fact that the formula for the Gunmetal color was a bit more dry than the others.

Highlights:

  • Long Wear
  • Smooth Application
  • Vibrant Colors
  • Excellent Selection of colors - there's something for everyone
  • Smudge Proof (after it sets)
  • Price: $6 (compared to $19)
  • Availability: Sephora & Urban Decay websites
  • Available Colors at Sephora: Binge, Graffiti, Gunmetal, Lust, Ransom (not reviewed), 1999
  • Available Colors at Urban Decay: Binge, Crash, Deviant, El Dorado, Graffiti, Lucky, Lust, 1999
I really can't say enough positive things about these liners. Again, they are on the high-end of the spectrum as far as price is concerned, but at the moment, at the price of $6 each, I think it is a great time to try these pencils out and see for yourself what they are all about. What eye liners are your favorites?

Stay Beautiful !

Love,

Helen
